It’s been another hugely successful year for Professional MotorSport World Expo. “Without question this has been our best show ever,” said Tony Robinson, show founder and CEO of UKIP Media & Events, the company that organises the show and publishes Professional Motorsport World magazine. “The feedback from our exhibitors has been absolutely fantastic, with everybody citing the very high quality of the visitors and the fact that it really is a professional motorsport show and business environment. A lot of exhibitors are particularly pleased with the connections they are making with dealers and distributors, not just in Europe but from around the world.”

There was praise for the event from visitors, too. “I’ve come to the show for an overview of the high-tech machining capacity that’s available in Europe, and also to see a lot of the proprietary components that are available in motorsport,” said Andrew Morrison, a technical buyer for Red Bull Technology. “It provides a really good opportunity to further develop relationships with a lot of our European suppliers, which enhances our business.”
Among the exhibitors who noted the high quality of the leads they were getting was Albins Off Road Gear from Australia. Albins was exhibiting at Professional MotorSport World Expo for the first time, and used the show to introduce its new six-speed sequential transmission, the ST6, to the European market. This will be the control part for the 2013 V8 Supercars, but will have other applications such as GT racing too. The company also reported strong interest in its ring and pinions for older Porsche models, and is working on future gearbox products in cooperation with Zeroshift.

Professional MotorSport World Expo is getting ready for another great show in 2012 with another fantastic line-up of exhibitors presenting a wide range of technical innovations and solutions to help enhance your racing season in 2013.
Staged in the third week of November, the show is perfectly timed to give race teams time to look and consider what technologies are likely to fit in with their 2013 programmes. And as the show is not open to the general public you will find exhibitors are able to concentrate on discussions and analyse technical issues in detail. This is a great bonus for all concerned as many of our exhibitors and visitors over the last six years can testify.
