The Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards recognise and reward the innovative thinking and hard work of the motorsport industry.

Motorsport professionals and members of the press will attend a Gala Dinner to witness the presentation of the Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards 2010.

The 2009 Categories for the awards were:

Technology

• Safety Initiative of the Year
• Testing Technology of the Year
• Powertrain Innovation of the Year
• Vehicle Development of the Year
• Motorsport Facility of the Year

People

• Design Engineer of the Year
• Team Principal of the Year

As in previous years, a shortlist will be selected from all the nominations received, and passed to the Awards jury, which will vote for the winners. The independent judging panel is made up of motorsport team principals and leading motorsport journalists from around the world.
