Tony Robinson, einer der Gründer der PMWX, macht sich, am 19. Oktober 2012, daran, eines der legendärsten Rennen aller Zeiten zu bestreiten: La Carrera Panamericana. Er hofft, mit einem Jaguar MK 2 3,8 aus dem Jahr 1960, der für die Veranstaltung massiv überarbeitet wurde, doch im Wesentlichen der seinerzeitigen Rennversion entspricht, den Motorriesen aus Detroit Paroli bieten zu können.
