Bosch Motorsport used PMW Expo to showcase for the very first time its all-in-one cloud and connectivity solution for motorsport. The system features an all-new vehicle control unit, and a powerful processing unit for customer-developed functions, integrating a flexible logging device with high-speed logging capability of up to 200kHz and 4G LTE telemetry requiring no infrastructure setup or sim card. Celebrating its 60th year in motorsport, Simpson Race Products showcased a number of new products from the Simpson/HANS/Stilo brands at PMW Expo, including the Carbon Curva rib protector developed by Stilo, featuring patented rubberized carbon fiber, and Stilo’s HANS Zero neck restraint, which uses aerospace-grade carbon fiber and is 15% lighter than the HANS Ultra Lite. Hewland is a market leader in motorsport transmissions, supporting multiple global race championships including F1, F2, F3, DTM, Formula E and WRC. The company launched two new transmissions at PMW Expo including a transverse transaxle gearbox designed for mid-engined GT3 and GT4 cars and an all-new transverse transmission developed for high-torque applications up to 550Nm. Schroth Safety Products launched a number of new products at PMW Expo, including two new safety nets – one of which is specifically for BTCC and was developed in cooperation with the FIA – and a new Profi Seat kit that uses a vacuum casting bag with a unique bead and quick-cure resin, making it a simple, easy-to-use, professional system to fit any driver into any racecar or seat.
