Visitors looking for electrical and electronic connectors that stand up to the strain of racing can’t afford to miss Lane Motorsport’s booth, which will showcase a new range of circular connectors from Japanese manufacturer Souriau, for which Lane is a certified connector assembler. It will also bring samples of the recently announced HellermannTyton SE28 Series heat-shrinkable tubing. This new protective tubing is a direct replacement for DR-25 tubing and is made from cross-linked elastomer. It is very resistant to fluids and physical damage, and has an operating temperature range of -75°C to +150°C, making it ideal for motorsport.
The high-performance, space-saving 8STA circular connectors from Souriau, meanwhile, are used extensively in applications that include ECUs, batteries, comms equipment, data systems, and in-vehicle cable harnesses. Lane maintains a large stock of 8STA piece parts, which allows it to produce custom solutions to precise requirements. Also on display will be a comprehensive range of 8STA-compatible accessories that together form a comprehensive motorsport interconnection package that customers can specify and purchase online. It includes protective caps, gaskets, nut plates and heat-shrink boots.
