A new size of Deutsch Autosport Double Density (ASDD) connectors will be on display at the TE Connectivity booth. This family of connectors is lightweight and contains almost double the number of contacts as a regular auto sport connector with an equivalent shell size. The range offers improved packaging and the option to use AWG30 wire size as standard. The new ASDD 7-11 brings the range up to seven shell sizes that offer this solution. This saves 20% in length over the size 8 shell, which can be a big help when packaging a wiring harness for tight spaces.

The Deutsch Autosport range is designed specifically for the harsh conditions of motorsport. The lightweight, sealed interconnects allow teams to focus on racing rather than reliability. The range is tested to meet mil-spec 38999, which is a well-known and understood standard across the connector world.
